UPDATE: Less than 1K still without power as severe thunderstorms hit the region

Power is steadily being restored across the Miami Valley as severe thunderstorms move through the area Wednesday night.

As of 1:25 a.m., approximately 770 AES Ohio customers are still without power, according to an outage map.

Customers in the following counties have reported outages:

  • Preble County– 8

  • Mercer County– 6

  • Darke County– 4

  • Clark County– 1

  • Clinton County– 10

  • Miami County– 76

  • Montgomery County– 393

  • Greene County– 272
